Rutland County Council is offering free bus travel throughout December.

Rutland residents will be able to catch busses around Rutland for free throughout December. This offer is available on busses departing after 9am, and includes weekends.

The announcement was made by Rutland County Council on social media: "We are pleased to inform residents that Rutland County Council are offering free bus travel on all routes in December for any journey starting after 9am, including weekends. More information will be available shortly."

This comes as the local council announce an increase of £10 to the annual green bin collection fee.
