The D'Ukes of Rutland return to Oakham Castle on 27 July for a free concert in support of the Friends of Oakham Castle.

Over the past year, the band has raised more than £1,000 for local charities and whilst this concert is free to attend, there will be an opportunity to make a donation to Friends of Oakham Castle, who help support the upkeep.

The massed ukuleles will be supported by percussion, banjo, mouth organ and a kazoo orchestra.

Songs for Summer will include the band's versions of songs by The Who, The Kinks, Johnny Cash, Al Jolson and Madonna.

Be there early to get the best seats in the splendid Great Hall where you can also see the latest ceremonial horseshoe presented by Sophie and Edward, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
