Rutland Garden Club has posted a plea for support the keep the organisation alive after 152 years of running.
The group, which was set up in 1872, is on the lookout for locals to fill committee roles. The team are on the lookout for a Treasurer as well as multiple General Committee Members to support the running of the club.
If these roles cannot be filled, the team fears that the society will collapse after over 150 years of success.
A spokesperson for the group said: "We have been struggling to fill roles on the committee for a few years. We are now in the situation where we have two stalwarts of the committee moving to North Yorkshire, so we are once again in the position of needing to fill their places in order to carry on.
"We are only a small club so they are not very demanding positions."
They are looking for the following:
A treasurer - this would mainly involve paying in any money from membership and paying out for the hire of the hall and payment of speakers.
General Committee Members - this would involve one committee meeting every two months that lasts for roughly an hour and a half, help putting chairs and tables up at the talks, helping to arrange speakers and trips out.
The team concluded: "This is our last chance of keeping the club going that has been running since 1872.
"Please share and get in touch if you can help in any way."
