Get ready for the 191st Rutland County Show with a fantastic family day out including livestock, rural crafts, live music and local food

On Sunday 1st June, the Rutland County Show will be back for the 191st year with an exciting day out perfect for the whole family.
This year, the show is bigger and better that ever before, combining every aspect of rural living and lifestyle into a jampacked day at Rutland County Showground.

Visitors will be able to browse hundreds of stalls and trade stands showcasing local crafts, woodwork, jewellery, ceramics and locally produced food and drinks, including cheese, pies, jams and sweet treats.
Brilliant live displays will be back this year, including the Stannage Motorcycle Stunt Team, Shetland Pony Grand National and other popular attractions, as well as returning favourites, duck herding.

There will also be a full timetable of live music throughout the day, accompanied by a vintage display, ferrets, floral displays, dog demonstrations and heavy horses. Animals (and their humans) will be travelling from far and wide to compete for Best in Show, with horses, pigs, ponies, sheep, cattle and goats all showing off their fine form and appearance.

For the little ones, there will be a Rutland Show Farmyard so younger visitors can get up close to farm animals and learn about different machinery.
This is a perfect family event so children and well-behaved dogs are welcome. If you do bring your furry friend, enter them in the just-for-fun dog show.
The Rutland Show will open from 9am with free parking, shuttle busses from Oakham and Uppingham on Sunday 1st June at Rutland Showground.
Book your tickets online or they can be purchased on the day.
