Get your tickets for Rutland Music Festival

On the 1st 2nd and 3rd of July, residents and visitors to Oakham will be able to enjoy Rutland's first ever Rutland Music Festival, a 3 day event jam packed with live music, food, beer, and good company.

The event will play host to a range of locally and nationally acclaimed acts, from local favourite Funked Up, to Showaddywaddy themselves!

On Friday the 1st of July, acts will be:

  • 6.30pm - 7.00pm DJ
  • 7.00pm - 8.00pm Manky Beds
  • 8.00pm - 8.30pm DJ
  • 8.30pm - 10pm Bon Giov (Bon Jovi Tribute Band)

Saturday 2nd July will bring:

  • 1:30 - 2:30 - Breaking Point
  • 3.00pm - 3.30pm - DJ
  • 3.30pm - 4.30pm RAW The Band
  • 4.30pm- 5pm - DJ
  • 5.00pm-6pm Vesper
  • 6.00pm-6.30pm DJ
  • 6.30pm-7.30pm Smokeshack Blues Band
  • 7.30pm - 8.00pm DJ
  • 8.00pm- 9pm The Moderators
  • 9.00pm-9.30pm DJ
  • 9.30pm-11pm - Abba Arrival

Acts rounding off the festival on Sunday 3rd July are:

  • 1.00pm-2.00pm The Extones
  • 2.00pm-3pm The Simpletones
  • 3pm-3.30pm DJ
  • 3.30pm-4.30pm Funked Up
  • 4.30pm-5.00pm DJ
  • 5.00pm-6.30pm Showaddywaddy

There will also be food, bars, and a funfair to keep the whole family entertained.

Carolyn Acton-Reed, Oakham Town Centre Manager and organiser of Rutland Music Festival, said: "After the huge success of last years Queen Tribute concert at The Rutland Showground and the fact we can go to concerts and see live music again, I decided to hold a 3 day music festival to celebrate!

"As well as many local bands playing we have two amazing tribute acts - Bon Giovi (Bon Jovi tribute) and Abba Arrival. We also have the fab Showaddywaddy playing on Sunday afternoon.

"As well as the bands we have DJ's, funfair rides and food and drink stalls."

Tickets for Friday cost £15 per person, VIP £20 per person.

Tickets for Saturday cost £30 per person, VIP £35 per person.

Tickets for Sunday cost £20 per person, VIP £25 per person.

Whole weekend £55 per person, VIP £60 per person

Under 12's go free, while carers tickets will be only £5 per day

There will also be free parking, toilets, and disabled parking.

VIP tickets include a deckchair, separate check in entrance and private toilets.

Visitors are welcome to bring along picnic blankets and chairs and food and drinks but he team have requested that alcoholic drinks and glassware are left at home. Bag searches will be conducted upon arrival.

Carolyn concluded: "It's going to be a great weekend. See you there!"
