Luc Affleck from the Junior section scored an amazing ace at

the 8th on the Valleys on Monday 7th September!

Hole in One!

Round 2 of the Club Championships (0-18) was played on The Lakes course off the white

tees on Saturday, (CSS: 73, Par: 72)

Congratulations go to Darren Sargood who played amazing golf in

horrendous weather conditions in Round 1 and played very well

again yesterday!

Both Leon Wyche and Adam Clegg chased hard as can be seen

below!

Leon had a triple bogey on 18th and Adam had a triple bogey on 16th and double bogey on 17th. Well played to all those who made the cut.

Simon Lem hit the best Gross score yesterday of 73.

Simon is the Nett Champion.

The 19+ Club Championships was played on The Lakes course off the white tees on

Saturday, (SSS: 73, CSS: 73, Par: 72)

More great golf from the players in this competition! Eventual Gross winner was Gavin

Sanger decided on countback over the back 9 holes. Gavin and Paul Clark scored Gross 89 but Gavin back 9 was 42 whereas Paul scored 43.

Gavin also won the Nett competition and had an exceptional round cut on his handicap. His handicap has been reduced from 20.9 to 18.2.

The Ladies Midweek Stableford was played on the 2nd September on

The Valley Course off the red tees (Par 68, CSS 69, SSS 69).

The winner was Lady's Captain Lesley Storey with a sterling

38pts!

The Ladies Bunny Cup was played on the Lakes Course off the

red tees. (Par 73, SSS 73, CSS 73).

This stableford comp was won by Fay Taylor [26.7] with 36

Congratulations to Sophie Beardsall who won the Ladies Club Championship which was played on The Lakes (CSS: 74 and SSS: 73, Par 73) is now the Club Champion and holds the Waycot Bowl.

Kay Ropson put in the best round of the day out of the Ladies but was just not quite enough to snatch the title away from Sophie. Kay played really well on the back 9. 2 birdies; 5 pars and 2 double bogeys. She won the Dryden Salver for her efforts!
