Planners have approved a wooden shed to be sited next to a terraced house in Oakham.

Mrs Christine Pridmore has gained planning approval to erect the shed at 14 Dawson Court, where she lives.

Her application to Rutland County Council said she would run a small business in the shed, one client at a time, with about seven a week.

The business presently operates from inside her home.

Planners approved the application, saying it was 'appropriate' for the context of the setting.
