Hambleton Bakery has made changes to its operations to ensure the business carries on and customers are safe.

The 11-year-old business, started by Julian Carter and Tim Hart, on the edge of the Exton Estate, says it has undergone the most challenging of times.

It lost many wholesale businesses due to the closure of cafes and restaurants and now it has had to redesign shops and bakery spaces to meet government legislation.

However, the Bakery Team have pulled together, they have continued to bake fresh every day, and their shops have stayed open despite shortened hours.

The bakery has also continued to deliver its promise of the best locally sourced ingredients in all their breads, cakes and savouries.

The company says getting its products to their customers has sometimes proved challenging but by working with a number of local wholesalers, it has has been able to distribute

their bread via many home delivery services.

The Bakery has also set up an online Click and Collect service which is proving popular for those that are more vulnerable, who might require a neighbour or relative to collect their bread, or those that are now beginning to return to work for the first time in 10 weeks.

Julian Carter of Hambleton Bakery commented: "We are really proud of our Bakery Team and how they have faced these ever changing set of demands; and also thankful for all our loyal customers for their amazing support and patience, as we have adapted over these last few months."
