Oakham United Charities is offering up to £100 to students between the ages of 16 and 22 (Nub News).

A group of independent charities operating in Oakham and Rutland is offering local students the chance to claim a generous grant to help ease the financial strain of further education. 

Students between the ages of 16 and 22 can apply for a grant of up to £100 to help them buy books or any other necessities for an apprenticeship, vocational training or university course. 

People wishing to apply for the grant should email Oakham United Charities at [email protected] for an application form. 

The deadline for applications is 31 October.
