Intended interactive sports venue becomes reclaimed furniture and gift shop

Ballers, an interactive sports venue that never opened its doors, has been turned into a store selling reclaimed and up cycled furniture and gifts.

The furniture and gift shop, Peeky's, has opened at the intended home of the much-anticipated interactive sports venue, Ballers, which never opened despite enthusiasm from younger Oakham residents.

Ballers was originally set to open in October, providing a range of simulation activities including football, shooting, bowling.

Following delays, the team promised a New Year opening, but this was not to be.

Prior to this, the venue was the popular and long-standing store, Shoecraft.

The newly opened shop, Peeky's, sells a range of furniture, decorative items and gifts, and can be found at:
