Oakham's May Fayre Dance celebrates the height of Spring and the start of summer with dancing, music and seasonal blooms on Saturday 3rd May between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

Organised by Root-and-Branch Out with Rutland Morris, Oakham Castle, Rutland County Council and Oakham Town Council, this event will be bursting with music and dance to bring the community together.

Set in the historic grounds of Oakham Castle, this event will include the chance to have a go at Morris and Maypole dancing, as well as making your own flower crown. Attendees are invited to arrive dressed in Spring Green and Summer White Clothing.

This is a free family event, everyone is welcome.

If you're interested in attending, respond to the event on Facebook to give the organisers a rough idea on numbers.
