A funfair has been enjoyed by Oakham locals this week, and today is the last day to join the fun.

Today, Saturday 19 August, is the last day that the John Holland & Son Family Funfair will be up and running in Oakham's Cutts Close.

The annual attraction rolled into town on Wednesday 16 August, and concludes today, when the family-led team will be packing up and moving on to their next site of the season.

Residents will be able to enjoy stalls, games, snacks, sweet treats and a range of thrilling rides at the John Holland & Son Family Funfair.

Rides this year will include dodgems, Insomnia, Energiser and the ever popular funhouse.

The fair will be open today from 1pm.

If you missed out, fear not! It has been confirmed that the James Richards Circus will be back in Oakham, at Rutland Showground, in October.
