A unique opportunity to talk to people who work for the NHS and healthcare organisations is happening at a special careers and jobs event, at Leicester's Morningside Arena between 10am and 2pm on Saturday 11 March.

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) provides community health, mental health and learning disabilities services for the one million people living in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

They have a budget in excess of £326 million and employ approximately 6,500 staff, and this month, they are recruiting.

Find out more about job roles available at the Morningside Area at an upcoming recruitment drive on 11 March.

Attendees will learn about our vast range of careers, both patient-caring - including for nurses, healthcare support workers and therapists – alongside vital non-patient facing support roles, such as administration, IT and finance.

There will be interactive displays, alongside information about work experience opportunities and how to access courses, including apprenticeships. The group will have details about staff benefits and how they look after our staff's health and wellbeing.

Experts will also be available to help support those wishing to apply for jobs and there will even be a chance to book interviews for some vacancies.

Organisations that attendees can meet at the event include:

  • De Montfort University
  • DHU Healthcare
  • East Midlands Ambulance Service
  • Leicester, Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership
  • Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust
  • LLR Provider Company Ltd
  • LOROS
  • Primary Care GP Networks
  • Primary Care Training Hub
  • University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust
  • University of Leicester

The event is free and there will be refreshments available on the day. Click here for more information and to register your interest.
