Katie Cardew, a designer and illustrator specialising in beautiful homeware, gifts and unique prints, has announced the closure of her Oakham store.

The store, which is situated at 17 Mill Street, will close by the end of February, following the closure of her Lincoln store on Sunday 2nd February and her Stamford store set to close on Sunday 16th February.

Although the date for the closure of the Oakham store is not yet confirmed, they have already started their closing down sale.

On social media, Katie posted: "It's nearly time to say goodbye – after 11 years of fun, creativity and adventure – the Katie Cardew journey is coming to an end.

"Katie and Emma have made the very tough decision to close the business, and the three stores and website will be saying goodbye very soon."

This is not the end of Katie's creative journey as, with the closure of her shops, she is able to put her time and focus into her interior design business Homes by Katie Cardew.

"Running this business has been a dream come true," said Katie. "We're so grateful for the incredible support of you, our wonderful customers, and of course, our amazing team."

The Oakham store will remain open until the end of February with discounts available as part of their final closing down sale.
