Local groups host community engagement event for Rutland residents

A community engagement event is set to take place in Rutland this this February.

Citizens Advice Rutland, P3 Charity and Voluntary Action Rutland will be at Oakham Library sharing information on the range of community services available in Rutland.

On 27 February from 10am, Rutland resident will have the chance to drop in and talk to these local charities and organisations about a range of concerns, including:

  • keeping safe
  • cost of living
  • fire safety
  • crime and disorder
  • exploitation
  • volunteering
  • mental health
  • domestic abuse
  • road safety
  • help and support
  • water homes
  • and much more

Citizens Advice Rutland offer a point of contact, support, advice and opportunities for training and networking to all those working in the voluntary and community sector in Rutland.

P3 is here for any Rutland residents over the age of 16 who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or in housing need, as well as to provide information, advice, and guidance to empower people to improve and maintain their mental health and wellbeing.

Finally, Voluntary Action Rutland supports and promotes local voluntary action by providing advice, information, support, training and consultation, as well as a free, voluntary car service and accessibility to health care tools.
