Mental Health Awareness Week: Visit Oakham’s mental health hub for a fun quiz night

The week of 12th to 18th May is Mental Health Awareness Week and Pepper's A Safe Place in Oakham is inviting you to join them for a fun evening of quizzing to mark the occasion.
Pepper's, which is situated on Oakham High Street, has built a safe space for local people to come together to improve their mental health in a relaxed and welcoming environment. They run weekly activities and drop-in sessions, including arts and crafts, seated yoga, and regular walking and gardening groups.
To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, Pepper's is hosting a quiz on Wednesday 14th May from 6pm until 7pm. This is a great opportunity for newcomers to visit Pepper's for the first time, as well as meet new people in a relaxed and friendly environment.
The quiz is open to all adults and is free to attend, there is no need to book.
The organisers described the event saying: "We're welcoming you to Pepper's in Melton and Oakham, with a few feel-good rounds of general knowledge questions. Nothing taxing – just a chance to have a cuppa, chat with others in our Pepper's community, and see if you know your Backstreet Boys from your Beatles, your Fawlty Towers from your Friends. Just come along, bring a friend if you'd like to, and join in the fun!"
The same event will be running at Pepper's A Safe Place in Melton as well as Oakham.
