221 Divorce Support is launching in Oakham from 7th February offering a safe space to get support, whether you're recently divorced or struggling to move on.

221 Divorce Support has been running for over twenty years, starting in Peterborough and Cambridge, now expanding into Oakham. The group is fully led by volunteers who have also experienced divorce, so they know the feelings that attendees might be experiencing, enabling them to offer real support.

The first meeting will take place at Oakham Baptist Church on Friday 7th February between 5pm and 7pm and will subsequently take place on the first Friday of every month.

As well as these monthly meetings, they are running a six-week course, 'Bitter or Better,' which will guide participants through many of the difficulties they are experiencing, helping them to look beyond their trauma to a new positive future.

For more information about the group or to get involved as a volunteer, contact group founder Jenny Firth on [email protected]
