Alicia Kearns, MP for Rutland and Stamford, has announced the launch of a new, fully-electric minibus service in Rutland.

According to Kearns, "it's great news thanks to the levelling up funds I secured with Lucy Stephenson, an electric minibus service is now up and running."

The new service will cover the Oakham Hopper routes, the R9 service to and from Stamford and, to start in early 2025, the Uppingham Hopper routes.

There will also be three additional busses soon added to a new public transport hub in Rutland, as well as new bus routes.
