Oakham Town Council is looking for a new business to sort the flower displays across town.

Local firms have until October 27 to submit their bid.

The council said the florist would need to provide enough flowers to fill the 40 wall troughs, 13 lamp post troughs, 50 hanging baskets and two large planters across the town.

This as well as maintaining each display.

"Oakham Town Council is seeking expressions of interest from qualified organisations to provide and maintain floral displays within Oakham Town Centre," a council notice said.

"The purpose of this EOI is to identify and pre-qualify candidate(s) who possess the expertise required to design, supply, install and maintain floral displays at multiple locations in and around Oakham Town Centre.

"Following this process, shortlisted candidates may be invited to submit a formal proposal."
