Brooke Priory is Rutland's Independent Co-educational Preparatory School - for children from 2 to 11 years - in the centre of Oakham.

It is a forward thinking school based on traditional and family values, and the team are looking to appoint a School Cleaner to join their family of staff on the premises team.

Your duties will include:

  • cleaning an area of school at the end of each school day
  • deep cleaning the area 3 times per year during school holidays
  • working 2 1/2 hours per day Monday to Friday during term time (34 weeks) at times to suit but must be between 3.30pm and 10pm
  • plus undertaking 6 weeks deep clean in school holidays at times to suit with agreement of the Headmaster (plus statutory paid holiday)

Salary will be £5,757.05 per annum, paid equally over 12 months.

Additional work may be available within the School for the right candidate.

Employment at Brooke Priory School is subject to a DBS check. The team are committed to safer recruitment, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
