Rutland Dodgeball, which was first set up late in 2024, is a lively local sports club that meets weekly in Uppingham.

The club welcomes anyone over the age of 11 and welcomes players of all abilities and meets every Thursdays between 6pm and 8pm at Uppingham Community College Sports Hall.

Alfie founded the club with his brother after both growing up playing the sports. The pair took a break from playing dodgeball during the covid pandemic but both joined teams during their time at university and fell back in love with the sport.

Alfie said: "We decided to start up a club to encourage participation with dodgeball in the Rutland area and increase dodgeball in the Rutland area and help to get people active – hopefully finding people to enjoy the sport as much as I have over the years."

The club welcomes new members and there is more information about sessions on their Facebook page.
