A new Sri Lankan shop has opened in Oakham.

R&R Pvt Global is open in The Maltings, just off Mill Street, at the former home of Rock-Buy Records - that is now located at 11 The Maltings.

The shop sells clothing and food goods from and inspired by Sri Lanka.

They will also be adding cooked food to their store later this month, which the team expect to be available from 22 July.

The team announced the news on social media: "We have open a new shop in Oakham, Unit 8, The Maltings. We sell Sri Lankan spices and cloths and cooked food which can be kept for 1 month.

"Please do come and visit and enjoy the spice."
