Nub News are championing local shops and businesses with their 'Shop Local' campaign.

Oakham Nub News is joining Nub News sites nationwide to enable local businesses to promote their services for FREE on a national scale.

On a mission to save local communities, the #ShopLocal campaign is being supported by a host of establishments across the country, including the UK Government, British Independent Retailers Association, and even local organisations such as Discover Rutland.

Now, Oakham Nub News has joined the fray, and we can't wait to support you and your local business.

You can share your business for FREE by clicking the Shop Local tab and clicking the black 'Nub It' button.

From here, you will be able to select your business category in the dropdown menu, and add the name of your business.

Below this, you will be asked to provide a brief description of what you offer, including opening times, how customers can find you, and address, where applicable.

We also ask that you provide your phone number and a social media page or website, so that customers can reach out.

Please also enter your email address. This will not be published on the site, but will allow Nub News to contact you if we need any further information about your listing.

Finally, upload a photo. Pictures speak a thousand words, as they say, and this is the same with our business listings.

Including an image will make your business more eye catching, and you can even use a business card so that your brand and contact details are the first thing our readers see when using the Shop Local directory.

Once you click 'SAVE', the listing will be sent through to us so that we can check it before it goes live.
