Charity Quiz and Curry Night
Kick-off the weekend early with the Warning Zone Charity Quiz and Curry Night at 7pm on Thursday 9 February at Rutland Showground.
The event is supported by the High Sheriff of Rutland, Geoff Thompson, David Wood at the Rutland Showground, and Stamford & Rutland Sound – with Rob Persani guesting as quizmaster.
Tickets cost £25 and can be purchased by emailing [email protected] or calling 0116 2629739.
Pie Night at Radish
This Friday 10 January, Rutland Garden Village are hosting a Pie night in their newly revamped Radish restaurant.
The evening costs £12 and includes a pie and a free beer, glass of wine or soft drink.
Pies are:
- steak and stilton
- chicken and mushroom
- fish
- vegetable

Seed Swap at Oakham Castle
Drop in to the Annual Seed Swap at Oakham Castle hosted by Root-and-Branch-Out CIC on Saturday 11 January 2023.
Pick up some FREE seeds, exchange seeds, and share gardening tips.
All are welcome - and it is a great pre-Valentine's activity to get your love blossoming!
This event will take place from 11am until 1pm on 11 Feb 2023.
Valentine's Tea and Tour
Speaking of Valentine's Day, spread the love early this year with the Oakham Castle Valentine's Tea and Tour, including a walking tour of Oakham with tea or coffee and biscuit or cake to finish at Castle Cottage Café.
The tour will last approximately 50 minutes.
Tickets cost £12.50 and can be booked at Oakham Castle or by calling 01572 757578.
Rugby Six Nations
Don't forget about the Six Nations too!
On Saturday, the Ireland v France game will take place at 2:15pm and the Scotland v Wales game at 4:45pm. Sunday will see England face Italy at 3pm.
