Over 80 heritage vehicles took part in the 2021 Round Rutland Run which was hosted by the market town of Uppingham on Sunday.

Organised by the Uppingham First Community Partnership, the run featured a 39.5 mile circuit around the southern half of the county visiting its two reservoirs, its two market towns and a number of its most beautiful villages.

The roads were very narrow in places and passing under the magnificent Harringworth or Seaton Viaduct.

The run was launched by the Lord Lieutenant of Rutland Dr Sarah Furness at 10.30am in Uppingham Market Place. Lunch and live music were available to registered drivers and their passengers when they return to Uppingham around 2pm.

The Harringworth Viaduct or Seaton Viaduct, crosses the valley of the River Welland between Harringworth in Northamptonshire and Seaton in Rutland, England.

The viaduct is 1,275 yards long and has 82 arches, each with a 40 feet span. It is the longest masonry viaduct across a valley in the United Kingdom.
