Two Oakham-based makeup artists have been selected as finalists for the Bridal Make Up Specialist of the Year awards in the East Midlands.

The award is hosted by The English Makeup Awards.

The group celebrate bridal stylists and artists on a national scale, and they have announced the finalists of their Bridal Make Up Specialist category.

Liz Staniland: MUA & Hair Stylist and Hayley Standen Hair & Make-Up have been shortlisted as finalists.

Liz Staniland has been working her magic in and around the local area for over 6 years and offer a huge 'Thank you' to the group, as well as her customers, for the support.

Hayley Standen is coming up to her second year in trade and said: "Oh my goodness!!! So exciting," as well as wishing the other competitors luck.
