Oakham Baptist Church have released the details of their yearly free Christmas meal for those concerned about Christmas costs and vulnerable individuals who would otherwise be alone this Christmas.

Every year, Oakham Baptist Church host a free Christmas meal on the 25th of December to help those in the Oakham community who are the most vulnerable.

This year is no exception, and details have already been announced by Tm Bowring and the team.

The OBC team said: "Going to be on your own this Christmas but don't want to be? Want to share Christmas dinner with other people? Worrying about how you will afford the turkey? You are welcome to come and join us at OBC for our Community Christmas.

"We'll have a short service at 10:30 followed by a meal together with all the Christmas trimmings (you're welcome to just come to the meal... and you don't have to wear the hat from your cracker!)"

If you, or someone you know, would like to come then get in touch.

To book, email the team on [email protected] or visit the Oakham Baptist Church Facebook page.

Alternatively, if you would like to donate crackers, mince pies, a Christmas pudding or any other festive trimmings to the cause, contact the team to arrange a drop-off time.
