The Oakham Bypass (A606) is busy this morning with traffic arriving for the Global BirdFair 2022.

This event is being held at Rutland Showground from Friday the 15th until Sunday the 17th of July 2022. As such, attendees and Rutland residents should expect heavy traffic over the weekend.

Attendees to the BirdFair are also asked not to park on the side roads close to the Showground, as parking is available on site.

Residents are advised to leave extra time to make journeys around Oakham this weekend.
