The Met Office warns that Oakham and Rutland could get wintery showers, with snow possible tonight (18 November) and into Tuesday morning.

Temperature is expected to drop well below freezing across the county tonight, reaching –3 degrees in some areas.

The Met Office is forecasting sleet and slow in the early hours of tomorrow morning, likely starting around 4am.

According to weather expert Phil Morrish on X (@rothleyweather), "the chance of snow for Rutland on Monday night has grown as the Low pressure moving in from the west is now trending further South.

"Overnight Monday into Tuesday, an area of rain/sleet and snow will move through."
