Nub News is keen to support local events, especially as we come out of lockdown, to help them gain the support they need and deserve.

This week, we have something somewhat different- a class showing you how to make string from rhubarb!

Root-and-Branch Out CIC is running the event at Rutland Showground on Thursday August 26 from 1pm.

The Community Interest Company, based in Rutland, offers long term Forest School/ outdoor play and learning opportunities in partnership with local communities.

The organisation runs 'Crafternoons', which in September will feature one where people can make 'wildflower seedbombs', which can be thrown at areas in need of colour- and can help the bees!

The events take place at Grower's Row and details and booking can be found here.

  • Remember, if you have an event to promote, please do so FREE OF CHARGE on Nub news by clicking the link for our FREE 'What's On' events listing service and adding your details.
