Oakham Mayor and Rutland Lord Lieutenant judge spring shop window competition, crowning winner on Oakham Spring Day

On Oakham in Spring on Saturday 15th March, Mayor of Oakham Paul Ainsley and Lord Lieutenant of Rutland Dr Sarah Furness judged the spring windows in Oakham Town Centre.

First place was awarded to Home Instead on Mill Street.

Hungry Birds Cafe was given second place for their bright, springy window.

The Lord Lieutenant and Mayor also gave an honourable mention to Cromwells Menswear for their wit.
