Oakham: Oakham Town Council seek volunteer Town Crier

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Oakham Town Council are seeking to recruit a Town Crier. This is a voluntary position with uniform and all necessary equipment being provided by the council.
Anyone who is interested in being the next Town Crier will be invited to take part in a competition being held as part of the Easter celebrations at Cutts Close Park on Sunday 17th April 2022.
This competition will decide who the lucky, loud, next Town Crier will be!
The competition is open to everyone so if you think you have the skills and abilities needed to be the Town Crier of Oakham, please email [email protected] to register your interest.
