Oakham: Police appeal for help after a car theft in Bottesford, Belvoir

Leicestershire Police have appealed for help after a Ford Ranger was stolen from a home in Bottesford, Belvoir.

A vehicle has been stolen off a driveway on Laurel Way, Bottesford between 9:30pm on Tuesday the 22nd of February and Wednesday the 23rd of February at 7:30am.

The vehicle is a Silver Ford Ranger Wildtrack Ecoblue displaying registration BK20 HSO. It had a distinctive bike carrier on the back for 4 bikes.

If residents have any CCTV or Dashcam footage that can help the investigation, they have been urged to get in touch by calling 101 quoting crime reference 22*107590.

PCSO for Melton and Rutland, Claire Grey has said: "If you see or have seen this vehicle please call as soon as possible with location/direction of travel."

A Black Yamaha R3 WG16 FKU has also been stolen from a driveway on Doctors Lane, Melton Mowbray between Tuesday the 22nd of February 8:00pm and 06:40am on the 23rd of February 2022.

If you see this motorcycle please call 101 with location/direction of travel.

No comment has been made on whether these thefts are connected.
