Oakham Town Council announce children’s art competition to decide who will turn on the Christmas lights

Oakham Town Council is inviting local children in Key Stage 1 and 2 to get involved in their Christmas Drawing Competition. 

The winning child will get the opportunity to switch on Oakham's Christmas lights at the Switch-On event on Sunday 23 November at 4.30pm. 

For children wanting to get involved, drawings must be submitted by Friday 7 November by email to [email protected] or drop it in to Kids and More at 9 Crown Walk, Oakham. 

The entry must include the name and age of the child who did the drawing, as well as the contact details of a responsible adult. The responsible adult must also accompany the winning child to the Christmas Light Switch-On.
