Oakham Town Council confirms move to Long Row

25th Feb 2020 | Local News

Oakham Town Council will be moving to new premises in Long Row in May.

The council signed the lease for the ground floor, Rol House, this week.

The decision to move from its long-term home at the Victoria Hall has been driven by the need for bigger premises, according to Town Clerk Allison Greaves.

Ms Greaves told Oakham Nub News: "The Town council requires more space and Long Row provides this - not just for council members' business, but also to accommodate members of the public."
