Oakham and District Twinning Association are inviting locals to join them on a trip to Roissy-en-Brie, France.

Members of Oakham and District Twinning Association visited their twinned town of Barmstedt, Germany, in May.

Barmstedt is also twinned with Roissy-en-Brie in France and have invited members of the ODTA to join them in visiting the French town to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the partnership as part of the official twinning weekend between 1st and 5th October.

Roissey-en-Brie is situated near Paris and can be reached by train from Paris's Gare du Nord, which is the station the Eurostar from St Pancras arrives.

This trip is open to members and non-members to attend and anyone interested can contact Julia Watson at [email protected] to register an interest and find out more.
