Oakham United Charities is offering small grants to students undertaking apprenticeships, vocational training or university courses in Rutland.

The grant is available to help with the purchasing of books and equipment.

There is funding available from different sources, so grants for students living in Oakham and Barleythorpe will come from the Charity of Henry Forster and the Rutland Society of Industry fund.

The grant is available for individuals aged 16 to 22 that live in Rutland and can be awarded up to £100.

The grants can be applied for once you have started the course and know what books and equipment will be needed. This can be applied for through their online application form or by emailing Oakham United Charities at [email protected]

The deadline for applications is 31st October 2025.
