Oakham walk to support Black Lives Matter

More than 100 people took park in a peaceful walk in Oakham to support Black Lives Matter.

The walk went from High Street to Cutts Close and included people kneeling down in the park.

Organiser Manjinder Jagdev who said people had been 'moved' by the death of George Floyd in the USA and she wanted to organise a peaceful 'memorial walk'.

She was 'impressed' by the turnout to 'support such a positive movement.'
