Have a go at Rutland Polo Club
To burn off all of that food, how about visiting Rutland Polo Club in Langham for their 'have a go' open day on Sunday the 1st of May 2022?
The team will be explaining what polo is all about and giving an overview of the game, the ponies, the kit and a few of the basic principles.
You will be shown the shots by a mounted player, and then taught the shots yourself on foot with a 'foot mallet. ' Then move on up to trying sessions on the clubs wooden horse to get the feel of it.
There will then be an informal lunch and drink, before visitors get back to some more instruction, meeting some ponies and players before finally watching our first club match of the season.
This event will take place from 12pm until 4pm. All are welcome!
