Get ready for another round of festive events this weekend as Christmas rolls in!

  1. Rutland Hall Christmas events

On the run up to Christmas and the New Year, the recently revamped Rutland Hall are running Christmas Party nights. These are available from the 3rd of December and are running throughout the month.

If you book a party with the Hall, you will get a 3 course festive menu with a disco, from £45.00 per adult.

Bed and breakfast is available from £110.00 per night if you have any relatives wanting to visit for a little treat over the festive period too.

Other events available are their Festive afternoon tea, Festive afternoon tea with Santa, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve Masquerade Ball and much more!

  1. Santa Fun Run
On Sunday the 12th of December, Rutland Rotary Club are running a Santa Fun Run to raise money for the Rotary or a charity of your choice. To enter, competitors must buy a Santa suit which will cost £10 per adult and £5 per child. The race starts at 11am, but before that there is a best decorated buggy and Santa doggy competition, so it really is fun for all the family. Come down and join in to run off some of those mince pies just in time for the festive season!
  1. Oakham Late Night Shopping

Keep your weekend going with Late Night Shopping on Monday the 13th of December!

Oakham town centre is playing host a Late Night Shopping event in the run up to Christmas:

Shopping will run from 4pm until 9pm and there will be many stalls available to buy those Christmas goodies.

Stalls will run along The High Street and Mill Street and inside Victoria Hall for shoppers to buy Christmas gifts, stocking fillers, and festive thing or two for themselves.

Guests can also check out the funfair along the High Street and Church Street and attend the FREE Santa's Grotto inside Orbis, Oakham on Mill Street.

Live music from local musicians will also be provided on at the stage in the Market Place.
