Oakham: Three exciting new jobs in education and care in Oakham this week

We have a range of roles in education available this week, from nursery to secondary school level, including roles in SEN and boarding care.
Uppingham School are looking for a full-time library co-ordinator to join the team in January.
The ideal candidate will support teaching and learning at Uppingham School and will feel confident in assisting with the day to day running of the library.
Uppingham School Library is an inspiring environment for pupils to focus on research and explore new ideas. The books are the core of the collection, along with a range of online databases, to ensure that our pupils access the latest and best resources to support their academic studies and reading for pleasure.
Your key responsibilities include:
Supervising pupils during their private study and recreational readingChecking materials in and out and filing or replacing returned items
Cataloguing new materialsOffering guidance to develop pupils research skills
Guiding pupils on the choice of literature to meet their curricular and leisure needsAssisting and promoting special events to encourage reading and independent learning
The ideal candidate will:
Be ICT literate, with the ability to supervise pupils effectivelyWork well as part of a team, with good communication and organisation skills

Westfield health care package The role will be term time only, 35 hours per week 32 weeks per year and the role is permanent. This is for a small Nursery that is based within the grounds of a local primary school with access to local countryside and school facilities, details of which to be given on application.
The Nursery is Ofsted rated "Good" and delivers provision for children aged 1 – 4 years old.
Salary would be £9 per hour, with the role covering 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role is term time only with an immediate start.
Nursery Nurse responsibilities would include:
Provide care to young children and their familiesWorking knowledge of EYFS
Conduct child observationsUpdate development records
Adhere to policies and proceduresWork well as a member of a team
Effective CommunicatorChild protection and safeguarding
Nursery Nurse requirements are:
