Oakham: RCC customer service area temporarily closing following Covid-19 guidance

The RCC customer service area is temporarily closing following Covid-19 guidance.

The main customer service area at Rutland County Council's Catmose offices in Oakham will be closing temporarily from Monday the 13th of December.

In responce to the spread of the Omicron COVID variant, the government has advised people to work from home if they can, from Monday the 13th of December. Full guidance on home working can be found on the national GOV.UK website.

The council have said that: "The decision to temporarily close the customer service area will be kept under review, subject to further changes to national COVID guidance."

Adding: "This is in line with new government guidance on COVID-19."

Residents can continue to access Rutland County Council services online by visiting www.rutland.gov.uk or by registering for the Council's new MyAccount service, where they can make payments, submit queries and track the progress of any online requests. Locals can log on to their account here: www.rutland.gov.uk/myaccount.
