Rutland County Council are reminding residents that the opening hours for Rutland's household waste and recycling centres (HWRC) will change to the winter hours from Friday October 1.

From then, Cottesmore HWRC will be open from 10am to 4pm, Friday to Monday and North Luffenham HWRC from 10am to 4pm, Tuesday to Sunday.

Trailers are not permitted at the Cottesmore site, but trailers under 2.05 metres in length (excluding the towing iron) are allowed at the North Luffenham site.
