Rutland residents only have until 31 May to enter the Rutland Open Art Studios 2023 event.

Rutland Open Art Studios 2023 are seeking artists to join their community, show and display their work, and participate in their annual open studios event.

Rutland Open Studios is a flourishing community of artists, crafts people and designer-makers working throughout Rutland and surrounding counties. Their aim is to help bring artists and local people together, which they do each year with their Rutland Open Studios art trail in and around the county.

Spokesperson for the group Andrea Naylor said: "After a long winter I am sure we are all looking forward to a little ray of sunshine. This September promises to do just that when artists in Rutland and adjoining counties will be exhibiting their work for visitors to enjoy in the Rutland Open Studios 2023 event.

"If you are an artist based in the Rutland area and would like to participate in this creative annual event please visit our website www.rutlandopenstudios.co.uk and download an application form. There is a fee of £55 which includes advertising and your inclusion in the ROS Brochure."

The event will take place over the weekends of the 9-10, 16-17 and 23-24 September 2023. Artists may exhibit their work in their studios or their homes or in galleries and community halls. Some will be displaying on their own, whilst others may choose to exhibit in groups with other participating artists.

The deadline for entries is 31 May, so if you are an artist, craftsperson or maker and would like to take part, get your artistic skills at the ready and create to exhibit.
