Rutland Food and Drink Festival is back this Sunday as a part of the Rutland Food & Drink Week, which runs from 23 - 30 September and celebrates The County of Good Taste.

On Sunday 24 September, the Rutland Food and Drink Festival, organised by Oakham and Rutland Events by Carolyn Acton-Reed, will be taking place in Oakham.

The semi-regular event hosts local sellers, creatives, crafters and business owners as they introduce Rutland residents and tourists to a range of seasonal, locally produced and hand and homemade food and drinks goods.

There will be:

  • street food
  • produce to take home
  • soft drinks
  • alcoholic beverages to enjoy on the day and to take home
  • live music

Popular local brands such Multum Gin Parvo - who have just launched three new gin flavours - will be in attendance, as well as many other sellers and street food pros.

Stalls will be set up in Oakham High Street, Market Place and Oakham Castle.

The grounds of Oakham Castle and the historic Norman Great Hall will be open for visitors to explore.
