A popular local band will be back, gracing the Rutland music scene this weekend following a 5-month absence.

Funked Up will be. back this weekend as their lead singer, Jordan, returns from his travels.

Funked Up are a function and party band who perform popular hits from the likes of The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, My Chemical Romance, Bruno Mars and more.

The team shared: "After 5 months off and our lead singer Jordon returning from his travels, we are back with our first gigs of the year. And to say we're excited is an understatement.

"Catch us at Glastonbudget on Friday 26 May at 4pm on the Big Top Stage

"And then Sunday 28th May, we are playing the Grainstore Brewery Cider Festival in the evening.

"These gigs are really gonna be special to us and it's gonna be one hell of a show."

They will be playing from 8:45pm at The Grainstore's Sausage and Cider Festival on Sunday 28 May, and from 4:05pm tonight, Friday 26 May, at Glastonbudget.
