Duck Fest returns to Greetham this weekend.

The annual duck race, and accompanying Duck Fest hosted by The Plough, returns this weekend, Sunday 29 May at 11am.

To mark the family-friendly event, The Plough on Greetham's Main Street are hosting a range of events to keep the locals entertained.

This comes as the roadworks that have been going on for the last 12 days in the rural village come to an end.

On the final day of the roadworks, 27 May, The Plough will be welcoming popular local band, The Detonators from 8:30pm.

Shoddywaddy will be performing on 28 May from 3pm.

Black Jack will round off the weekend of live music as the venue from 2pm on 29 May.

The 29 May is also when the legendary Duck Race takes place.

Attended by locals, tourists, families, couples and solo adventurers, the duck race takes place every year and sees participants set their rubber ducks loose on the North Brook to see who will bag first place.

Ducks can be sponsored by anyone and all funds raised go to the community centre.

The community centre is also home to the Greetham Gathering, a monthly car meet that takes place in the summer months.

Find out more, including when the next gathering is set to take place, here.
