Curios and Clobber, a small business based in Oakham selling party goods and decorations, have announced they will be closing after ten years in the town.

Curios and Clobber first opened in Knight's Yard in Oakham in May 2016, then moving to a larger space at 40 Melton Road in May 2019.

On a post on social media, the owners announced that 'with great sadness' they will be closing 'due to health reasons.'

The shop will officially close at the end of July 2026.

Known locally for excellent customer service, great costumes, lively window displays and going above and beyond for customers, this unique shop is part of the real heart and soul of Oakham, a town that favours small, independent businesses.
