Preparations are underway and road closure signs are up in anticipation of Rutland Food and Drink Festival this Sunday 22nd September.

The event will take place between 11am and 4pm across Oakham, including in Victoria Hall, Oakham Castle, High Street and Market Place.

Over 70 stalls will be there to showcase some of the best local brands Rutland has to offer, with music by Chris Poole outside Victoria Hall and Rocka-Buy Records playing records downstairs in the Hall.

The festival will take place across Oakham, making it the perfect Sunday activity to stroll round the town and explore the stalls. (Photo: CarolynActonEvents on Facebook)

The event will also be a great opportunity to get tickets for this year's Oakham Christmas Party as tickets will be sold at a special price during the festival.

The event is organised by Carolyn Acton Events. For regular updates, you can check out the event Facebook page.
