The RF1 bus service that begins in Windsor Street, Melton Mowbray, and terminates at John Street, Oakham is set to be cancelled this summer.

This service, that runs between the two towns and passes through Whissendine, will cease on the 28th of August 2022.

The RF1 bus is run by Centre Bus and supported by Council subsidies, and is a standard 'Hail and Ride' service.

This follows the temporary changes made to the service in February 2022, meaning that the running times were cut down.

It has not yet been confirmed whether another company will be taking over the route. Find out more here.

Will the removal of this daily bus service impact you?
